‘A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man’ is part of Classics Revival, an ongoing personal project dedicated to reinterpreting and republishing works of classic literature with particular personal significance.
Developed without a fixed schedule or format, the series serves as a space for experimentation in editorial design, with a particular focus on microtypography. This edition features Godfrey Roman and Godfrey Italic, two typefaces I designed earlier that same year.
“A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man” s’inscrit dans Classics Revival, un projet personnel au long cours consacré à la réédition et à la réinterprétation graphique d’œuvres classiques de la littérature auxquelles je suis particulièrement attachée.
Sans calendrier ni format prédéfini, cette série constitue un terrain d’expérimentation en design éditorial, avec une attention particulière portée à la microtypographie. Cette édition est composée avec Godfrey Roman et Godfrey Italic, deux caractères typographiques que j’ai dessinés plus tôt la même année.
