A project commissioned by the Académie des beaux-arts in Paris, 'Peinture en scène' opened on 17 June at the Pavillon Comtesse de Caen (Palais de l'Institut de France), Paris, staying on view until 27 September 2026.

Curated by Marine Rochard, the exhibition gathers Olivier Debré's work for the stage — the monumental curtains he painted for the Comédie-Française (1987) and the operas of Hong Kong (1989) and Shanghai (1998) — through sketches, maquettes and preparatory studies. First shown at the CCC OD in Tours in 2025, it is here reconceived for the rooms of the Pavillon. Komnen Formae designed that staging, with curator Marine Rochard.
